The Opinel No. 07 is an intermediate size in the classic series, slightly more compact than the ubiquitous No. 08 but larger than the No. 06. The blade is made of XC90 carbon steel (Carbone), which ensures excellent cutting performance and is easy to sharpen. However, this steel is not stainless and develops a grayish patina with use. The handle is traditional French beechwood and the knife is equipped with the Virobloc locking ring, which can lock the blade in both open and closed positions.

- Blade: Shows distinct oxidation marks and patina across the entire surface, typical of used carbon steel. The edge appears intact but used.
- Handle: The beech wood is in neat condition with minimal traces of use.

- Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
- Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.
- Outlet: Here you'll find knives with engravings, heavy wear, or defects. Always check the specific description and photos.

No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.

The warranty covers technical defects not caused by your own fault. For Outlet items, the warranty does not cover defects that were already mentioned/visible at the time of sale.
