The Wenger Champ Original is an impressive 85mm pocket knife and a true classic from Delemont. As the name suggests, it was the flagship of the Wenger line in its day (before the tang models were introduced). This 5-ply model is packed with features. It stands out for its inclusion of the outdoor enthusiast's "holy trinity": a double-toothed wood saw, a metal saw (which also functions as a file), and a fish scaler with a disgorger and wire guide. It also features patented Wenger scissors, a large blade, a nail file, a corkscrew, an awl, and the standard openers.
Stands:
- Blade: Shows visible scratches and wear marks on the flanks, consistent with age and use. The edge is intact.
- Handle: The red bowls show clear signs of wear (rub marks and dull spots). The Swiss cross is still visible.
- Mechanism: Technically in very good condition. All tools, including the scissor spring and various saws, hinge smoothly and function properly.
- Accessories: Includes tweezers and toothpick.

- Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
- Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.
- Outlet: Here you'll find knives with engravings, heavy wear, or defects. Always check the specific description and photos.

No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.

We stand behind our products. That's why we offer a standard 12-month warranty on the proper functioning of the mechanism. If, for any reason, you're not satisfied with the knife, you have a 14-day return period .
The warranty covers technical defects not caused by your own fault. For Outlet items, the warranty does not cover defects that were already mentioned/visible at the time of sale.
