The Buck 112 Ranger is the compact version of the world-famous 110 Folding Hunter. This particular example dates back to 1991, as evidenced by the "+" date code on the ricasso. The knife features a clippoint blade and the signature ebony handle with solid brass bolsters. The construction is riveted, and the knife locks with a robust back-lock mechanism on the spine. An American icon with over 30 years of history.
Stands
- Blade: Stainless steel. Shows visible sharpening marks and scratches from use. The point is intact. Date code (+) indicates 1991.
- Handle: The ebony is in good condition with no cracks. The brass bolsters show heavy patina (oxidation) and scratches, typical of the age and material.
- Mechanism: The back lock engages securely with its characteristic click. There's no play in the blade.
- Note: Supplied without case.

We are strict in our assessment, so that upon receipt it can only be a pleasant surprise:
- Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
- Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.
- Outlet: Here you'll find knives with engravings, heavy wear, or defects. Always check the specific description and photos.
