The Gerber MP400 Compact Sport is the more compact version of the well-known MP600 series and is characterized by its "Made in USA" production. Its most distinctive mechanism is the one-handed opening mechanism, where the pliers slide out of the handles. This model is made entirely of stainless steel and features the Saf.T.Plus locking system (black plastic slides) that locks all unfolded tools. The tool set includes a partially serrated blade, a Phillips screwdriver, and the patented Fiskars scissors. The handles are recognizable by their diagonal cutouts.

Blade: The partially serrated cutting edge (combo edge) is in good condition and has seen minimal use. There is no damage to the edge.
Handle: The stainless steel shows light superficial scratches (snail trails) from storage and use.
Mechanism: The pliers' sliding mechanism operates smoothly. There is visible surface oxidation (flash rust) around the pliers' pivot point and on the hinges of the internal tools (e.g., the scissors). The lock functions properly.
