The Gerber Strata is a full-size multi-tool distinguished by its slim profile and replaceable carbide wire cutters. It features 13 functions, including spring-loaded needle-nose pliers, a partially serrated blade, a wood saw, scissors, and a dedicated retail package opener (blister cutter). The tools are accessible from the outside and lock into place using the Saf.T.Plus sliding system. The handles have a dark coating and synthetic inlays for grip. This model is no longer in production.

Stands:

Blade: The partially serrated cutting edge is intact and sharp. The steel shows light marks from use.
Handle: Heavy cosmetic wear. The dark coating on the edges and corners of the frame has worn away, exposing the bare metal.
Mechanism: The pliers and lock function properly. However, there is clearly visible oxidation (rust) on the hinges of the inner tools and on the tools themselves.

Transparency Grading

We are strict in our assessment, so that upon receipt it can only be a pleasant surprise:

Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.

Cleaned & Lubricated

No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.
