The Kershaw Cryo II (model 1556TI) is a pocket knife designed in collaboration with the renowned knifemaker Rick Hinderer. It is the slightly larger variant of the original Kershaw Cryo. The entire knife is made of stainless steel and features a matte, gray titanium carbo-nitride coating. The blade opens using the patented SpeedSafe system, a spring-assisted opening mechanism activated via the flipper or thumb studs. The locking mechanism is a frame-lock, equipped with a Hinderer lockbar stabilizer to prevent overtravel of the locking mechanism. The pocket clip is reversible to four different positions.
Condition:
- Blade: The titanium carbo-nitride coating shows light scratches and superficial rub marks, particularly near the tip and edge. The edge itself is intact and shows no chips or structural damage.
- Handle: The steel scales show rub marks (snail trails) from use and carrying in the pocket. The black pocket clip shows slight wear of the coating on the raised edges.
- Mechanism: Functions correctly. The SpeedSafe spring assist ensures smooth opening. The frame-lock closes firmly and securely.

- Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
- Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.
- Outlet: Here you'll find knives with engravings, heavy wear, or defects. Always check the specific description and photos.

Cleaned & Lubricated
No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.

The warranty covers technical defects not caused by your own fault. For Outlet items, the warranty does not cover defects that were already mentioned/visible at the time of sale.
