The Leatherman Charge AL is the aluminum version of the Charge family. This model features 6061-T6 hard-anodized aluminum handles with a black finish. The main blade is made of 154CM stainless steel, which offers a higher hardness than the standard 420HC steel of the Wave series. This is an older generation model with fixed, non-interchangeable wire cutters in the pliers head. The tool features scissors (unlike the Charge ALX) and a large bit holder. Includes an original Leatherman sheath.

Stands:

Blade: The 154CM blade is in good condition, with clearly legible factory markings. The serrated blade with cutting hook shows no major damage.
Handle: The black aluminum scales show visible wear on the edges (silver aluminum showing through), which is common with worn anodized tools.
Mechanism: All tools lock properly (Liner Lock and Back Lock). The pliers' heads and jaws show visible, superficial oxidation (flash rust), but the pivot works smoothly.
Accessories: Includes the micro screwdriver, double-sided bit, and a leather case. The tip of the flat side of the micro bit is broken off (see detailed photos).

Transparency Grading

Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.

Cleaned & Lubricated

No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.
