The Leatherman Charge ALX is a variant of the premium Charge series, featuring handles crafted from 6061-T6 anodized aluminum. The 'ALX' differs from the standard Charge AL in that it lacks scissors; instead, this model features a gut hook on the spine of the serrated blade and a secondary, large bit holder integrated into the handle. The primary blade is crafted from high-quality 154CM stainless steel, which offers longer edge retention than standard 420HC steel. The tool features a lock on all folding components.

Stands:

Blade: The 154CM blade is in good condition with an intact point. Minor signs of wear are visible on the steel. The serrated blade with cutting hook is also intact.
Handle: The black anodized aluminum scales show visible wear (bare aluminum) along the edges and corners, which is characteristic of used anodized aluminum.
Mechanism: The pivot points, especially around the tang, show slight oxidation. The locks (liner lock for the blades, rocker lock for the internal tools) function properly.
Bits: Note: The bits used in the tool are original Leatherman bits, but they are different from the standard bits included in the ALX batch. This includes one pentagonal bit and one standard Leatherman bit.

Transparency Grading

We are strict in our assessment, so that upon receipt it can only be a pleasant surprise:

Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.

Cleaned & Lubricated

No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.
