The Leatherman Skeletool CX is the premium version of the regular Skeletool. This particular model features a genuine carbon fiber inlay in the handle, which reduces weight and gives it a distinctive appearance. The blade is crafted from high-quality 154CM stainless steel and features a completely smooth edge (plain edge), unlike the serrated edge of the basic model. The metal parts of the frame are coated with a black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon). The tool comes with a matching nylon belt sheath.
Stands:
- Blade: The 154CM blade is sharp and the point is intact. However, there are clear scratches and signs of wear along the entire length of the sharpening surface.
- Handle: The black DLC coating shows wear on the edges and contact points. The carbon fiber insert is intact.
- Mechanism: The pliers open and close smoothly. There is visible (surface) oxidation in the recesses of the pliers' head and around the pivot point.
- Accessories: The included nylon sheath is in good condition.

- Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
- Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.
- Outlet: Here you'll find knives with engravings, heavy wear, or defects. Always check the specific description and photos.

Cleaned & Lubricated
No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.

We stand behind our products. That's why we offer a standard 12-month warranty on the proper functioning of the mechanism. If, for any reason, you're not satisfied with the knife, you have a 14-day return period .
The warranty covers technical defects not caused by your own fault. For Outlet items, the warranty does not cover defects that were already mentioned/visible at the time of sale.
