The Leatherman Super Tool is the original heavy-duty multi-tool introduced in 1994. This model is characterized by its robust, square-box construction and was the first Leatherman to have all folding tools lock. Unlocking the tools requires a specific action: you have to partially unfold another tool to release the lock on the one being used. The tool is made entirely of stainless steel and features, among other things, heavy-duty pliers, a clip point blade, a serrated blade, a metal file, a wood saw, and an awl. Some items in this lot are stamped "PAT PEND" (Patent Pending), indicating early production years.
Stands:
- Blade: The blades may show clear signs of wear. Light scratches may be present on the sides.
- Handle: The stainless steel housing may show minor scratches and dents around the edges. Light, superficial oxidation or flash rust may be visible on the inside of the handles, which is common for tools of this age.
- Mechanism: The pliers' hinges operate smoothly. The locking mechanism for the tools functions correctly on all models (the tools engage and disengage as instructed).
- Tools: The files and saws are in used but functional condition. Screwdrivers may show slight wear on the corners.

- Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
- Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.
- Outlet: Here you'll find knives with engravings, heavy wear, or defects. Always check the specific description and photos.

The warranty covers technical defects not caused by your own fault. For Outlet items, the warranty does not cover defects that were already mentioned/visible at the time of sale.
