The Leatherman Wave+ is the updated successor to the original Wave, Leatherman's best-selling model. The most significant technical upgrade over the previous generation is the addition of replaceable 154CM wire cutters in the pliers' heads, allowing them to be replaced as they wear out. This model features Black Oxide, a chemical coating that reduces reflections and provides a matte black finish. The tool boasts 18 functions, including one-handed blades, a saw, a file, and bit holders for both large and micro bits. All folding components lock into place during use.

Blade: The 420HC blade is sharp and intact. The black coating shows slight wear (fading) along the cutting edge and spine due to use.
Handle: The Black Oxide finish exhibits the characteristic cosmetic wear (scuffing) on the corners and contact points of this material. This is a characteristic of the coating, which develops a patina with use.
Mechanism: The pliers open smoothly and the interchangeable wire cutters are undamaged. All internal tools, including the scissors and bit holders, function properly.

Transparency Grading

Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.

Cleaned & Lubricated

No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.
