De Leatherman Wave is een veelgebruikte multitool ontworpen voor industrieel, outdoor en alledaags gebruik (EDC). Het afgebeelde model is de tweede generatie van de Wave, herkenbaar aan de vaste draadknippers in de plierhead (in tegenstelling tot de latere Wave+ die vervangbare knippers heeft) en de toevoeging van de grote en kleine bithouders. De tool is voorzien van een Black Oxide coating. Dit is een industriële afwerking die van origine is ontworpen om lichtreflectie tegen te gaan in tactische situaties en biedt een basale bescherming tegen corrosie. Deze specifieke afwerking is gevoelig voor zichtbare slijtage op wrijvingspunten, wat resulteert in een gepatineerd uiterlijk naarmate de tool gebruikt wordt.
Staat:
- Lemmet: De lemmeten, zaag en vijl kunnen lichte sporen van gebruik en slijtage van de zwarte coating vertonen. De snedes zijn intact en vertonen geen grote beschadigingen.
- Handvat: Typische cosmetische slijtage (snail trails) op de hoeken, randen en scharnierpunten waar de Black Oxide coating door wrijving is vervaagd naar het onderliggende staal. Geen deuken of verbuigingen.
- Mechanisme: Alle tools openen correct. De linerlocks voor de buitenste lemmeten en de backlocks voor de interne tools sluiten stevig en functioneren technisch perfect. De tangbek is uitgelijnd.

- Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
- Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.
- Outlet: Here you'll find knives with engravings, heavy wear, or defects. Always check the specific description and photos.

Cleaned & Lubricated
No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.

We stand behind our products. That's why we offer a standard 12-month warranty on the proper functioning of the mechanism. If, for any reason, you're not satisfied with the knife, you have a 14-day return period .
The warranty covers technical defects not caused by your own fault. For Outlet items, the warranty does not cover defects that were already mentioned/visible at the time of sale.
