The Leatherman Wave is a widely used multitool designed for industrial, outdoor, and everyday carry (EDC). The model shown is the second generation of the Wave, identifiable by the fixed wire cutters in the plier head (in contrast to the later Wave+ which has replaceable cutters) and the addition of the large and small bit drivers. The tool features a Black Oxide coating. This is an industrial finish originally designed to reduce light reflection in tactical situations and offers basic protection against corrosion. This specific finish is prone to visible wear on friction points, resulting in a patinated appearance as the tool is used.
Condition:
- Blade: The blades, saw, and file may show minor signs of use and wear on the black coating. The edges are intact and show no significant damage.
- Handle: Typical cosmetic wear (snail trails) on the corners, edges, and pivot points where the Black Oxide coating has worn through to the underlying steel due to friction. No dents or bends.
- Mechanism: All tools open correctly. The liner locks for the outer blades and the back locks for the internal tools engage securely and function technically perfectly. The plier jaws are aligned.

- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.

No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.

The warranty covers technical defects not caused by your own fault. For Outlet items, the warranty does not cover defects that were already mentioned/visible at the time of sale.
