This is the second generation of the Leatherman Wave (produced between 2004 and 2018). Unlike the current "Wave+," this model features a pliers head with fixed wire cutters (not interchangeable). The tool is finished in "Black Oxide," a matte black anti-glare coating often used in tactical applications. The Wave has 17 functions, including two blades (smooth and serrated) with one-handed opening, a wood saw, a diamond file, and various bit holders. All tools lock in the open position.

Stands:

Blade: The knives show clear defects. The tip of the serrated blade is broken off. The tip of the smooth blade is also damaged/blunted.
Handle: The Black Oxide coating shows signs of wear all around and edge wear, which is normal for this type of finish.
Mechanism: The pliers and locks function smoothly. The pliers (fixed wire cutters) are in good condition.

Transparency Grading

Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.

Cleaned & Lubricated

No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.
