The Marttiini Lumberjack is a traditional Finnish utility knife, manufactured in Rovaniemi. This model features a hand-ground carbon steel blade, with the black forge scale preserved on the flats for an authentic look and extra protection. The Scandi grind makes the knife specifically suitable for woodworking and outdoor tasks. The handle is made from stained birch wood, which, due to its ergonomic shape and the wood's texture, provides a stable grip. The knife comes with a classic brown leather sheath, equipped with internal plastic protection against cutting through.
Condition:
- Blade: The polished edge shows clear superficial scratches and sharpening marks. The black forge scale on the ricasso is almost entirely intact.
- Handle: The birch wood shows slight signs of use but is free from cracks or deep nicks. The brass bolster has developed a clear patina and light oxidation spots.
- Mechanism: Fixed blade. The connection between the tang and the handle is technically solid. The leather sheath shows light pressure marks from carrying, but the seams and belt loop are fully intact.

- Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
- Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.
- Outlet: Here you'll find knives with engravings, heavy wear, or defects. Always check the specific description and photos.

No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.

The warranty covers technical defects not caused by your own fault. For Outlet items, the warranty does not cover defects that were already mentioned/visible at the time of sale.
