The Opinel No. 06 is the smallest model in the Classic series equipped with the Virobloc locking system. This makes the knife particularly compact and safe for everyday use (EDC) or finer cutting tasks. The blade is made of modified Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel (Inox), which offers a good balance between corrosion resistance and cutting performance. The handle is formed from French beechwood and varnished for moisture protection. The rotating Virobloc ring locks the blade in the open position for use and in the closed position for safe transport.
Stands:
- Blade: Original finish. Sharp edge. May contain light, superficial scratches from storage or previous use.
- Handle: Beechwood in good, structurally sound condition. No cracks, possibly minor signs of wear.
- Mechanism: The Virobloc ring rotates correctly and provides the correct resistance when locking.

We are strict in our assessment, so that upon receipt it can only be a pleasant surprise:
- Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
- Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.
- Outlet: Here you'll find knives with engravings, heavy wear, or defects. Always check the specific description and photos.

Cleaned & Lubricated
No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.

We stand behind our products. That's why we offer a standard 12-month warranty on the proper functioning of the mechanism. If, for any reason, you're not satisfied with the knife, you have a 14-day return period .
The warranty covers technical defects not caused by your own fault. For Outlet items, the warranty does not cover defects that were already mentioned/visible at the time of sale.
