The Opinel No. 07 Inox is a handy knife from the French series, featuring the classic Yatagan blade. This particular example is a version without the Virobloc locking system. The knife functions as a friction folder, with the blade held in place by the friction of the hinge pin within the metal bolster, similar to the smallest Opinel models (No. 02 through No. 05). The blade is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, and the handle is made of beechwood.
