The Opinel No. 08 Trekking is the outdoor version of the most popular size in the collection. This model features a hornbeam handle, a wood known for its fine grain and suitability for color finishes. The wood is lacquered in a deep blue. A leather strap at the end allows the knife to be easily attached to a belt or backpack. The blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel.

- Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.
- Outlet: Here you'll find knives with engravings, heavy wear, or defects. Always check the specific description and photos.

Cleaned & Lubricated
No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.

The warranty covers technical defects not caused by your own fault. For Outlet items, the warranty does not cover defects that were already mentioned/visible at the time of sale.
