This is the "Trekking" (sometimes called "Baroudeur") version of the Opinel No. 08. It differs from the standard model in that it features a lanyard loop and a leather strap on the back of the handle. The handle is made of varnished beechwood. The blade is made of stainless steel (Inox) and features the classic Yatagan style. The knife is equipped with a Virobloc locking ring.
Stands:
- Blade: In very good condition. The steel is bright and shows only minimal surface blemishes.
- Handle: Grade B. The wood is clean and the logo print is sharp and intact. Shows minor signs of handling or storage.
- Mechanism: The locking ring functions correctly and smoothly.

We are strict in our assessment, so that upon receipt it can only be a pleasant surprise:
- Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
- Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.
- Outlet: Here you'll find knives with engravings, heavy wear, or defects. Always check the specific description and photos.

Cleaned & Lubricated
No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.

We stand behind our products. That's why we offer a standard 12-month warranty on the proper functioning of the mechanism. If, for any reason, you're not satisfied with the knife, you have a 14-day return period .
The warranty covers technical defects not caused by your own fault. For Outlet items, the warranty does not cover defects that were already mentioned/visible at the time of sale.
