The Opinel No. 09 is a larger model than the standard No. 08, designed for users with larger hands or for heavier cutting tasks. The blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel (Inox), which ensures high corrosion resistance and sharpness retention. The handle is made of French beechwood. This model features the Virobloc safety ring, which allows the blade to be locked in both open and closed positions.

- Blade: Features original factory finish. May contain light scratches or surface scuffs from storage or light use.
- Handle: The beech wood is structurally sound. May show minor signs of wear, but no cracks or defects.

We are strict in our assessment, so that upon receipt it can only be a pleasant surprise:
- Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
- Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.
- Outlet: Here you'll find knives with engravings, heavy wear, or defects. Always check the specific description and photos.

Cleaned & Lubricated
No nasty surprises or stuck tools. Each item is individually inspected and hand-cleaned by us. We remove old grease and grime and treat the pivot point with premium Ballistol oil. You'll receive a knife that's clean, runs smoothly, and is ready for a second life.

We stand behind our products. That's why we offer a standard 12-month warranty on the proper functioning of the mechanism. If, for any reason, you're not satisfied with the knife, you have a 14-day return period .
The warranty covers technical defects not caused by your own fault. For Outlet items, the warranty does not cover defects that were already mentioned/visible at the time of sale.
