The Spyderco Manix 2 is a pocket knife manufactured at the factory in Golden, Colorado (USA). This model is characterized by the patented Ball Bearing Lock, a locking mechanism in which a hardened steel ball bearing is pressed against the back of the blade by a spring. The knife is equipped with G-10 handles, a high-pressure fiberglass laminate known for its grip and durability. The blade is made from CPM S30V steel, a powder steel specifically developed for knives to offer a balance between edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance.
Condition:
- Blade: Light signs of use visible on the finish. The edge is intact without major chips. The markings "Spyderco CPM S30V" and "Golden, Colorado U.S.A. Earth" are clearly legible.
- Handle: The black G-10 shows light signs of wear, particularly around the edges. The steel liners and jimping are clean. The pocket clip shows light scratches.
- Mechanism: The Ball Bearing Lock functions properly. The knife opens and closes smoothly. The blade centering is correct.

We are strict in our assessment, so that upon receipt it can only be a pleasant surprise:
- Grade A: In excellent condition. May show minimal signs of storage or light rubbing on the scales, but is in very good condition.
- Grade B: A fair example. It has normal scratches on the handle or blade from previous use, but is technically 100% sound.
- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.
- Outlet: Here you'll find knives with engravings, heavy wear, or defects. Always check the specific description and photos.
