The SwissTool Spirit XBS is the tactical, burnished version of Victorinox's acclaimed multi-tool. This model is distinguished by its ergonomically curved handles ("Spirit" design) and the "X" tool package, meaning it features a pointed spear-point blade (smoothly ground) instead of the blunt serrated blade. The black oxide layer (burnished finish) originally serves to reduce light reflection and provides additional corrosion resistance. All tools are accessible from the outside and lock individually for safe use.

Casing: The black oxide layer shows heavy, aesthetic wear across the entire surface. The finish has worn down to the steel in many areas, resulting in a weathered, distressed appearance.
Pliers: The jaws of the combination pliers show clear signs of wear and loss of coating around the pivot point and gripping surfaces.
Tools: The internal tools are technically sound, but also show stains and wear to the finish. The blade, shears, and saws are intact and usable.
