This is a Wenger Esquire in a special Rolex edition, issued as a promotional gift by the watch brand. Wenger, which ceased producing pocket knives under its own name after being acquired by Victorinox in 2013, equipped this model with a blade, a nail file, and scissors. The scissors feature Wenger's characteristic micro-serration and a patented lever spring (indicated by 'EP Pat.'). The green handle is emblazoned with the name 'ROLEX' and its crown logo. The original colored filling of this inscription has worn away, making the logo and text primarily visible as an embossed relief in glancing light or reflection. The knife comes with its original dark green leather slip case with an intact gold crown imprint.
Condition:
- Blade: Shows light scratches and minimal signs of previous use.
- Handle: The scales have light surface scratches (snail trails). The Rolex logo and brand name imprint have faded and worn, making them only visible as an embossed relief at a specific angle.
- Mechanism: Tools open and close smoothly, the scissor spring is intact, and resistance is good.
