This is a rarer, older example from the original Wenger Ranger series (120mm), produced before the introduction of the "New Ranger" in 2007. This model is immediately distinguishable by its rectangular profile and the unique "Slide Lock" system, where a red slider in the handle releases the blade. The tool set is expanded with a powerful wood saw, in addition to the partially serrated blade (clip-point shape). This generation of Wenger knives is no longer produced and is sought after for its more robust, classic construction compared to the later ergonomic models.
Stands:
- Blade: Partially serrated. The steel shows light scratches on the edges, but the edge and serrations are intact and sharp.
- Handle: The classic black nylon handles show light wear around the edges. The red sliding mechanism is intact and clearly legible.
- Mechanism: The slide lock works correctly and securely locks the blade. The tools (such as the saw and corkscrew) have a good snap.
- Other tools: The wood saw shows visible oxidation spots/patina on the steel (cosmetic), but the teeth are sharp and undamaged.

- Grade C: Clearly heavily used. Expect visible scratches, dents, or dull spots. A true work knife.
