CRKT M16-02Z Tanto – Grade B

The CRKT M16-02Z is a tactical folding knife designed by Kit Carson and is part of Columbia River Knife & Tool's M16 series. This model features a Tanto-style blade with a plain edge. The knife can be opened one-handed via the dual thumb stud or the flipper on the spine, which also serves as a finger guard when deployed. The open-frame handles are made of Zytel (glass-reinforced nylon), reducing weight. The knife uses a liner lock mechanism, which is further secured by the patented AutoLAWKS system. This mechanism (identifiable by the red marking) automatically locks the liner lock when the knife is open to prevent accidental closing.

Condition:

• Blade: Shows superficial scratches (snail trails) and slight oxidation at the base of the thumb stud. The edge is intact.
• Handle: The Zytel material is in good condition. The stainless steel pocket clip shows significant cosmetic wear and scratches.
• Mechanism: Opens and closes correctly. The liner lock and AutoLAWKS system function perfectly mechanically.
