Emerson Commander BTS 2008 – Grade B

The Emerson Commander is a tactical folding knife originally designed for use by maritime special forces. The most recognizable aspect of this model is its wide recurve blade profile. The 'BTS' designation specifies that the blade features a black coating and a partially serrated edge (combo edge). This example from the 2008 production year is equipped with the patented Emerson Wave feature on the spine, allowing the knife to open instantly when drawn from the pocket. The handle construction consists of milled black G-10 scales mounted on titanium liners.

Condition:

• Blade: The black coating shows superficial scuff marks and light wear on the flats. The edge and serrations are intact and show no chips or structural damage.
• Handle: The G-10 scales are in good condition without cracks or deep scratches, however, there are some signs of use. The black finish on the metal pocket clip is largely worn off due to carrying. The pivot screw also shows light paint wear.
• Mechanism: Functions properly. The liner-lock securely locks the blade, and the knife opens correctly via the thumb disc or the Wave hook.
