Please note: The photos shown are for illustrative purposes only. Because we have multiple units of this model in stock, you will receive a product in a similar condition to the one pictured. The Leatherman New Wave is the second generation of the Wave platform, produced between 2004 and 2018. This model differs from the first generation (Original Wave) in its "All-Locking" functionality, which locks all tools, and the introduction of interchangeable bits. The key difference from the current Wave+ is the pliers head: this model features fixed, non-interchangeable wire cutters. The tool is made of stainless steel and features 420HC steel blades that can be opened with one hand.
Stands:
- Blade: The knives are in functional condition, but may show minor scratches on the sides from previous use. The cutting edge is intact.
- Handle: The stainless steel housing may have surface scratches, smudges, and snail trails around the edges.
- Mechanism: Technically 100% sound. The hinges and locks function properly. There may be some light, superficial oxidation (flash rust) in the deeper parts of the pliers' heads or on the tools.
Specifications:
- Brand: Leatherman
- Model: New Wave (2nd Gen)
- Steel grade: 420HC
- Handle material: stainless steel
- Lock: Liner Lock & Back Lock
