The Opinel No. 08 is a classic folding knife, featuring a blade made of carbon steel (Carbone). This material is known for its excellent cutting properties, but it develops natural discoloration when exposed to moisture or acids. The handle is made of beech wood. The knife features the characteristic Virobloc locking mechanism, a steel ring that can be rotated to securely lock the blade in the open or closed position.
Condition: Light signs of wear. The blade has superficial scratches and initial oxidation or patina. The wooden handle and the locking ring are in very good optical and technical condition.
